Sellers Are Re-Listing Their Homes - Here’s Why

📊 Remember when thousands of sellers pulled their homes off the market last fall?

About 45,000 homeowners decided to wait, saying: “If we can’t get the price we want, we’re not selling.”

Well… many of them are coming back.

✨ According to recent reporting from CNBC, homes are being re-listed at the fastest pace in nearly a decade.

So what does that mean for the spring housing market, especially here in San Ramon, Danville, and across the Greater Bay Area?

Here’s what the data is showing so far:

📉 Mortgage rates are lower than they were a year ago, hovering around ~6%

💰 Pricing strategy matters more than ever as buyers stay cautious about overpaying

📈 Buyer activity is rising again, with a recent 6.1% spike in home purchase applications, according to Trading Economics

Momentum is building, but the homes priced correctly are the ones attracting serious buyers.

As a local realtor serving San Ramon, Danville, and the Greater Bay Area, I’m watching the data closely to help my clients time the market strategically, not guess.

📌 P.S. If you’re even thinking about moving, this is the right time to start the conversation. It might feel early, but my clients are always less stressed and far more prepared when we plan ahead.
