Is this finally a buyer’s market?

I’ve been getting this question a lot lately.

Nationally, there are significantly more sellers than buyers and that creates a market where buyers may have more choices and negotiating opportunities.

But here’s what I’m seeing on the ground across San Ramon, Danville, and the Greater Bay Area:

🏡 Some homes are still going under contract incredibly quickly and even receiving multiple offers.

🏡 Others are sitting for weeks or months, especially when the price, condition, or marketing doesn't match what buyers are willing to pay.

So what do I tell my buyers?

Be ready.

More inventory can mean more opportunities - but the best opportunities don't necessarily sit around waiting.

If the right home comes along, you want to already have your financing in place, understand your budget, know your priorities, and be prepared to act.

💡 The advantage isn't simply having more homes to choose from.

It's being prepared when the right one appears.
